ISC GmbH and GDPR Compliance
Our Commitment to You and the Protection of Your Data
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), set to go into effect May 25, 2018, is the most comprehensive EU data privacy law in decades.
Protecting our customers’ information and their users’ privacy is extremely important to us. As a provider of both desktop-based applications and cloud-based solutions, we are entrusted with some of our customers’ most valuable data, and we’ve set high standards for security.
We’ll continue to monitor the guidance around GDPR compliance from privacy-related regulatory bodies, and will adjust our plans accordingly if it changes. We’ll provide you with regular updates along the way so that you’re always current.
Why is GDPR important?
In order to ensure that the protection of personal data remains a fundamental right for EU citizens the aim of the GDPR is to modernize outdated privacy laws. The GDPR has the potential to impact any business that collects data in Europe.
